Thread: Daycare Apps

    Daycare Apps

As part of our QEP this year, we are trying to improve the communication with our families and are looking to pilot a daycare app such as Babyconnect or Tadpole in one of classrooms (to start). Can anyone give any feedback about their experience with any of these services, or can suggest an app they have used successfully? Was it time consuming to update the apps, and how many children did you need to update for?

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated!

My daughters daycare uses HiMama and I LOVE IT!!!!!!! No more paper to take home. I get the occasional photo and all the daily info emailed right to me. AND the staff seems to like it as well as it cuts down on the time needed for their reporting paperwork. Things that apply to all children can be automatically applied to all their 'reports' (like what they had for lunch or activities). My daughters class has about 12 kids and the other classroom has closer to 20.

I use DailyConnect. It's super easy to use and I have received great feedback for it. I can upload pictures, send messages, and record all activity. You can record info for all children or separately. Each parent has their own log in with access to their own child so they can put updates too.
